Epsiline provides remote sensing solutions for the wind industry. The company was founded in 2009 in Toulouse, France, its main objective being to provide a laser wind sensor at accessible prices.Epsiline’s main product is the YawAdvisor, a nacelle-mounted laser wind sensor to detect yaw misalignment. It can be used as a diagnostic tool and included in periodical monitoring procedures for turbines. Easy to install and uninstall, it minimises turbine down-time. It can be purchased or leased.YawAdvisor is currently in validation with measurement institutes and at commercial wind farm in France. DNV-GL certification and ISO Certification have started and are expected to be completed before the end of 2015. |
