Setting Up Business in Germany

Offshore Market Outlook, Networks & Public Support

When: 11 March 2015, 11:00 – 12:30
Where: Meeting Room 21

GTAI-logoGermany is a wind energy pioneer. Historically strong in the onshore sector, today the country is also making major advances in offshore wind. Offshore wind is expected to account for around 10 percent of global installed capacity as early as 2020. Today, more than 90 percent of offshore wind power is installed off the coastlines of northern Europe, with the North and Baltic Seas surrounding Germany making a major contribution. Significant new opportunities will present themselves to international offshore wind energy players in the years ahead.

International offshore wind companies with an express interest in setting up business in Germany are invited to attend an exclusive Germany Trade & Invest event.

Presentations will address Germany’s burgeoning offshore wind sector and provide an overview of current developments and trends for the country’s offshore wind market.

Set-up support will be presented, covering clusters, networks, partners, and sites as well as available production and R&D funding options.

The presentations will be concluded with an informal networking reception.

  • “Acessing the German Market – Infrastructure, Networks, Public Support”, Ms. Esther Frey, Senior Manager Wind Power, Germany Trade & Invest
