Swedish EU presidency to give high priority to Baltic Strategy
In just a few short weeks the rotating EU presidency will pass from the Czechs to the Swedes. In preparation for their six-month presidency, the Swedish government has published an outline of what it hopes to achieve.
The Swedish EU presidency will give a high priority to energy-related issues, but it will focus above all on the Baltic Strategy, including the Baltic Energy Market Interconnection Plan, which will connect the Baltic region to the rest of the EU’s electricity market.
