EWEC 2008: European dimension of wind energy (31 March – 3 April 2008)

05.11.2007

The 2008 European Wind Energy Conference and Exhibition (EWEC) will take place in Brussels, the heart of European politics, from 31 March – 3 April. The location of next year’s EWEC gives the event a European dimension and strengthened policy focus. It offers key business leaders, scientists and policy makers a unique opportunity to interact, exchange information and influence the legislative process at a critical juncture in its development.

EU Energy Commissioner Andris Piebalgs will be chairing the conference. His decision to do so underlines the credibility of the EWEC events and reflects the increasing political support for wind energy. The programme for EWEC 2008 will echo his challenge – how to build a secure, sustainable and competitive energy supply for the future.

In an increasingly competitive market place, knowledge of the latest industry developments and access to the leading players are vital for sustaining a competitive advantage. Building on the success of previous events, EWEC 2008 offers delegates the opportunity to bring their knowledge of wind and electricity issues up-to-date. The conference programme has been designed to educate and inform on all areas of wind energy and a full social and networking schedule will give participants the chance to make contacts and develop new business opportunities.

Conference registration is already open – book your place.
“Early Bird” registration offer ends 15 November - book today and save 100€.
