RESTMAC project: Creating Markets for Renewable Energy Technologies

Later this month, the EC funded project “Creating Markets for Renewable Energy Technologies – EU RES Technology Marketing Campaign (RESTMAC)” will be launched. EWEA is an active partner in this FP6 project that will last for two years.

The project aims at developing and implementing a targeted technology marketing campaign on selected renewable energy technologies in areas inside and outside the EU. This will mainly be done by the organisation of trade missions and technology workshops. EWEA will be in charge of the organisation of a trade mission to China and other emerging wind energy markets as well as workshops on wind energy in the Baltic States, Hungary and Poland.

RESTMAC is led by the European Renewable Energy Council (EREC); other partners include European renewable energy industry and trade associations active in the fields of photovoltaic, small hydropower, geothermal, solar thermal energy and biomass (1) .
