EWEA/Greenpeace publish Wind Force 12 report in Turkish

Greenpeace and EWEA presented today in Istanbul the Turkish version of the Wind Force 12 report. While the debate about the renewable energy law at the Turkish Parliament continues, Wind Force 12 is the evidence that shows wind energy great potential and what Turkey is missing. "With 88,000 MW technical potential, wind energy can clearly meet the need of Turkey’s energy demands in the future and creates significantly more employment opportunities for Turkish people. Wind power is also one of the best ways to gain electricity without creating new Yatagans and causing global climate change. Anybody who is honest and knows how to calculate would go for renewable energy sources such as wind."
