- Accommodation
- Our online booking system is available here, offering reduced rates on a range of hotels in Marseille.
- Badges and conference materials
- All participants will be provided with a badge upon arrival, which must be worn at all times whilst in the venue. You may also be required to show your badge at some social events. Conference delegates will not be allowed into session rooms without their badge.
Should you lose your badge, please go to the registration desks for assistance.
All participants will be provided with a bag containing event materials on arrival, subject to availability. An exhibition catalogue will be included inside the bag, and, for conference delegates, a final copy of the conference programme.

For those participants not entitled to the buffet lunch, 3 Snack bars and 1 Visitor Restaurant will be available at the venue. There are several restaurants in the vicinity of Parc Chanot, details of which can be found by downloadingthis map. (141kb)
Water will also be freely available around the conference venue.

- The conference dinner will take place on Wednesday, 18 March 2009 at 20:00 in the
“Palais de la Bourse”.
Cocktails and canapés will be served, followed by the dinner.
You may purchase a ticket through the Registration page, at the price of €120 (incl. VAT) per ticket.

Bus transfer from Parc Chanot:
A coach shuttle will be provided from the Parc Chanot to the Palais and la Bourse, departing at 19:30 outside Parc Chanot. Return transfer will be provided from 21:30 every half an hour until 0:00 outside the Palais de la Bourse. Coaches will stop at main hotels in the city centre and near Parch Chanot.

- Banks: Generally, banks in France are open on weekdays from 09:30 to 16:30. Most take a one-hour lunch break. Certain banks may also be open on Saturdays. Banks at the airport and main train stations open as early as 06:30 and close as late as 22:30. Cash points are widely available. Cash withdrawals may be made using your credit card. There are 3 cash points onsite at Parc Chanot, as well as a fourth one located just outside the venue.

Shops: Small shops and businesses tend to close for two hours at lunch, but stay open until later in the evening. Shopping malls in Marseille, such as the Centre Bourse, stay open all day, generally until 19:00. The standard closing day for shops is Sunday.
Markets:: Marseille's open-air markets are generally held in the morning, from 08:00 to 13:00.

Onsite registration will commence on Sunday 15 March from 14:00-19:00, and then continue from 08:00-18:00 on Monday 16, Tuesday 17, and Wednesday 18 March and from 8:00-12:30 on Thursday 19 March.
Badges will be given to all registered participants onsite and should be collected from the registration desk on arrival. Participants will not be admitted to the conference or exhibition without their badges.
