JOB FAIR – Explore the opportunities

Monday, 16 March 2009, 10:00-17:00 – Parc Chanot, Marseille, France

Some 325,000 European jobs will be created by the wind industry by 2020.

Following the successful introduction of the first Job Fair at the 2008 European Wind Energy Conference and Exhibition (EWEC) in Brussels, EWEA held a second specialised event to promote employment in the wind industry at next year’s EWEC. The 2009 Job Fair offered a unique opportunity to bring together potential employers, new graduates and experienced professionals within the framework of EWEC, Europe’s premier wind energy event.

“The job fair at EWEC 2008 provided us with the opportunity to meet and get to know good quality candidates, from a great variety of professional and educational backgrounds” Gamesa

Recruitment opportunities

The 2008 Job Fair attracted over 300 relevant candidates, whose profiles perfectly matched the numerous jobs being offered by the exhibiting companies.

Sponsorship opportunities

Specialised Job Fair sponsorship opportunities are available, including company promotional material along the mezzanine balcony or the escalator leading to the raised Job Fair location.

“Wind energy is a sector which is going to grow and grow – it offers great employment opportunities."
