IEE Call for proposals is open
29.01.2007
At the end of May 2006, the European Commission (DG TREN) has published the last Call for proposals under the current Intelligent Energy Europe (IEE) programme.
As in other occasions, three types of actions can be co-financed under this call: non-technological energy projects, the establishment of new local and regional energy management agencies, and events linked to strategic renewable energy and energy efficiency. The indicative amount available for this call is 48.1 million EUR. Organisations established in the EU-25, Bulgaria, Croatia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Romania can apply for financial support covering up to 50% of their total eligible costs. The fields to be addressed by the proposals are energy efficiency (SAVE), the promotion of new and renewable energy sources (ALTENER) or the energy aspects of transport (STEER).
The closing date for the submission of applications for all actions is 31 October 2006.
