Wind in Our Sails report launched
New report by European Wind Energy Association predicts 35-fold increase in capacity by 2030 and 300,000 new jobs in Europe – but policy-makers must act to underpin it. Kjaer says Europe desperately needs an offshore grid and a political commitment to binding carbon emission targets for 2030 and 2050, but the bonus in jobs and wealth generation will be considerable.
EWEA OFFSHORE 2009 a success!
