Top officials and business leaders attending Europe's premier wind energy event in Poland

Journalists are invited to the annual European Wind Energy Conference & Exhibition (EWEC 2010), Warsaw, 20-23 April.

Organised by the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA), EWEC 2010 - Europe's largest combined wind energy conference and exhibition - brings together business leaders, policy makers and stakeholders from all over Europe to debate key developments in the wind industry. 

The opening session will feature speakers at ministerial level, and daily must-attend panels will provide exclusive insights into the current climate and energy debate in Europe.

Conference sessions include:

  • CAPITAL SOURCES, COSTS AND PROSPECTS
  • RENEWABLE ENERGY IN EUROPE: ACHIEVING 20% BY 2020?

The EWEC 2010 exhibition is sold out: over 200 exhibitors will fill the 5,000m2 of exhibition space. Some 7,000 participants are expected to attend the event.

A press conference will take place on the opening day, at 12:00.

All journalists will have free access to EWEC 2010. A fully equipped press room will be available. A broadcast-standard video highlighting the main activities at EWEC will be made available too.
