Session description

The session on how to attract financing partners will explore the diverse needs of financial partners for offshore transaction through the eyes of a project developer. The session chair will drive the discussion around the optimal structure and the associated challenges for offshore projects to attract external finance. A scene-setting presentation will shed light on former offshore deals which the panel will expand into an outlook for future transactions. The invited panel participants will be representatives from Investments Managers, Financials, Strategic partners, OEMs.

  1. Understand and differentiate between different investor groups
  2. Understand what project specifics are important to different investor groups
  3. Know how a project should be adapted to attract different investor groups
  4. Understand what risks exists in an Offshore project and how they could be mitigated in the eyes of the investor
  5. Understand different options on how to structure an offshore investment
