  • The role of spatial planning and policy

1. Identify monitoring and data gathering techniques for positive environmental impacts
2. Explain the role of the Maritime Spatial Planning Directive
3. Analyse approaches to manage cumulative impacts during the design phase
4. Examine the Joint Industry Bird Collision Avoidance Study being undertaken within an operational wind farm
5. Understand how spatial planning and policy can respond to potential environmental impacts from offshore wind farms
