Session description

The session will create a solid insight into the expectations and potentials of reducing the Cost of Energy generated through Offshore Wind. Introductory presentations by major industry participants and a panel session will describe the expected reduction path and validate the promises made. Suppliers', operators' as well as governmental views will be represented on the panel.


Learning Objectives
  1. Create an understanding for current cost levels and the expected reduction pathway on the European Offshore Wind market.
  2. Create insight into ongoing cost reduction efforts by suppliers and operators.
  3. Understand politicial expectations on the industry and the needed political framework for a successful cost reduction journey.
