17:00 - 18:30 Resource assessment - The building blocks
This session will focus on some of the building blocks which are required to undertake resource assessment. Learning from experience is one of the most valuable tools we have and with data now becoming available from operational wind farms its vital we look at how are models have been performing against prediction. This information can then be used to guide are efforts in increasing our prediction accuracy and maximising the output.
1. Quantify the benefits of post construction analysis.
2. Identifying key risks in resource assessment.
3. Calculation of wake uncertainty.
4. Insight into the influence of atmospheric stability conditions.
5. Alternative tools for layout design.
