EWEC 2010 call for abstracts about to close

The European Wind Energy Conference (EWEC) 2010 in Warsaw is now just six months away. The call for abstracts, which will determine the conference programme, closes on 12 October. If you still wish to contribute, time is running out!

All EWEA members also have the possibility of becoming a member of the EWEC 2010 Programme Committee.  The main role of the Programme Committee is to review the submitted abstracts. The call for abstracts has been launched in three different tracks: Business and Policy, Wind Energy Finance Forum and Technical. Each track contains a detailed list of topics.

If you would like to participate in the EWEC 2010 Programme Committee, please have a look at the list of topics and decide which two you would like to review. The review of the abstracts will be carried out in late October/early November. Further guidelines will be sent to confirmed committee members in mid-October.

If you would are interested in becoming a Programme Committee member, please email John McSweeney by 14 October at [email protected], including your full name, job title, organisation, contact details and two chosen abstract topics.

If you have any queries about the review process or the conference programme in general, don’t hesitate to contact Amy Parsons at [email protected] or John McSweeney at [email protected]
