EWEA team has expanded

The team working at the European Wind Energy Association headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, has now reached a total of 37 staff members, meaning every aspect of policy, projects, communications, events and marketing can be dealt with in detail.

The organisation is made up of several departments. There is an administrative and finance unit, which contains EWEA’s management staff, and a policy department that breaks down into regulatory affairs unit – chiefly concerned with lobbying and parliamentary work – and policy analysis – concerned with projects and research. The marketing and events department has a team devoted to events and event logistics and another focused on membership and sales. The communication department contains a press and publications team and a creative unit working on graphics, IT and web development. The departments work very closely together on a range of issues on a daily basis.
