EWEA currently has three vacancies.

Sales Manager

EWEA is looking for a Sales Manager for its Sales and Marketing Department, which is responsible for generating income and promoting major industry events.

The objective of the Sales Manager is to increase sales from exhibitions and sponsorships, as well as recruit new, and retain existing members. Other tasks include producing exhibition catalogues, selling advertisements and making website updates.

Regulatory Affairs Advisor – Internal Electricity Market and grid

EWEA’s Regulatory Affairs Unit is seeking to recruit a Regulatory Affairs Advisor – Internal Electricity Market and Grids – to develop and implement EWEA’s political goals and objectives regarding the Internal Electricity Market and grid infrastructure.

The objective of the regulatory affairs advisor is to develop, strengthen and broaden an extensive advocacy network across the EU institutions and formulate and implement targeted lobbying strategies to impact the political processes to ensure the continued development and integration of large scale wind energy in the EU and beyond.

Candidates must have a good understanding of the European power markets, including energy economics.

Marketing and Sales Intern

EWEA is looking for an intern for its Sales and Marketing Department, for six months starting from 1 September 2008.

The intern’s main responsibilities will be assisting the Sales and Marketing team on a day-to-day basis with emails, website and database updates, writing copy for marketing materials, liaising with external suppliers and providing administrative and project assistance when required.
