EWEA website and newsletter revamped
09.07.2008
The EWEA website has just been relaunched with a fresher, brighter look. The home page is now even more news-focused and user-friendly, with the clear structure making information easy to find and access.
A new section has been added to the site, ‘Statistics’, which presents the most recent facts and figures on the European wind energy situation, including a map showing information broken down by country.
We have also added a daily newsfeed service, ‘Media Monitoring’, which allows members to access a selection of the day’s stories from global media.
In the coming months, we will launch a ‘Job Centre’ so that members can keep on top of who is hiring in the sector, and publish their own ads.
In correlation with this, the monthly electronic newsletter, Brussels Briefing, has been entirely revamped.
Now entitled ‘Wind Watch’, the newsletter has sharpened its focus to give more targeted information on the latest decisions and news from Brussels. The newsletter will now be sent to EWEA members only, which allows the articles to be better geared towards members’ needs and interests.
We have also added an entirely new ‘Market and industry’ section to update readers on what has happened in the market that month. As before, there will be pieces on EWEA events, plus additional news on EWEA of interest to our members.
There will also be the opportunity to advertise in the ‘Wind Watch’ – to find out more and to place an ad, please contact Anna, [email protected]
