Zoe, you make a compelling case for the viability of the wind power industry. At the end of the day, the overriding factor remains that renewable energy is a necessity.
On the existing cost base, our own work on helicopter rotor performance enhancement, and turbo machinery indicate that further direct cost efficiencies can be achieved readily for the wind power programs, with the use of the CVG-EPS "Conformal Vortex Generator-Erosion Protection System. While achieving highly effective high angle of attack outcomes of L/D, the zero angle of attack drag reduction in the order of 8-9% from a polished blade as the result of the passive boundary layer suction effect that occurs is able to permit retrofit to existing blades, and more efficient designs.
