		<description><![CDATA[Interesting perspective and important insight into someone not directly involved in the wind industry. I think it&#039;s worth pointing out that the RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) announced plans to erect a wind turbine at their UK headquarters last year - a symbolic step if ever there was one.  Out of 1,500 wind farm applications that the RSPB responded to in the UK, only 6% were found to have a significant impact on wildlife and in many of these cases the developers redesigned plans in accordance with RSPB recommendations. Appropriately sited wind turbines that are monitored by dedicated experts such as Krzysztof give bird populations the best chance of survival.]]></description>
