I said that the world (not Europe) will see concentrations (not emissions) of greenhouse gases increasing by 2.5 to 3 parts per million for next 8 years. I have no idea whether European emissions will go up or down over that time frame.

You seem to have missed the main point about system limits for wind and solar. It&#039;s not that they exist, it&#039;s that we can make the limits higher -- that is less limiting -- if we back up wind and solar with more gas, both for flexibility and storage.  More gas equals more possibilities for wind and solar.]]></description>
