Presenter's biography

Iciar Font joined Alstom Wind (GE Renewables Energy since the 1st of November) in September 2007 as Reliability Engineer. In 2009 she joined the R&D Closed-Loop Control team, becoming in 2014 Technical Leader Coordinator. She is responsible for the design of load mitigation strategies for the 3.0MW platform, as well as for control validation in wind turbine prototypes. She is involved in several R&D projects. She is leading the development and integration of Robust Control on Alstom Turbines. Iciar graduated in Industrial Engineering at the Polytechnical University of Barcelona. In 2004 she fulfilled a PDEng degree in Mechatronics at the Technical University of Eindhoven.
