Martin Shan holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Technical University of Berlin, between 2002-2005 he worked as Development Engineer for Wind Turbines at DeWind, Lübeck, since 2005 he is with Fraunhofer IWES, Kassel (former ISET), where he is head of department control engineering since 2012.His research interests include wind turbine and wind farm control design, structural dynamics, grid integration.
