Alper Sevinc studied mechanical engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Münster and started to work as a validation engineer at the German-Indian wind turbine manufacturer Kenersys for 5 years. His task was the supervision of measurement campaigns of wind turbine prototypes according to IEC and FGW standards. Currently he works as a research assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy and Energy System Technology and coordinates the passive technology of the “Smart Blades” project in cooperation with the ForWind - Center for Wind Energy Research and the German Aerospace Center.
