Christian Pavese is PhD Student at the Technical University of Denmark, Department of Wind Energy, Aeroelastic Design Section. His PhD project, with the title "Light Weight Rotor Design - Combined passive and active control methods", involves the design of wind turbine blades that employes passive control strategies, such as bend-twist coupling effects, and active control technologies, such as trailing edge flaps. His specialisation includes aero-servo-elastic modeling for load analysis of wind turbines, wind turbine blade design, modeling and testing.
